The objective of Paul-Valéry Montpellier 3 University’s Equality mission is to combat discrimination based on gender, race or ethnic origin, religion or beliefs, disability, age or sexual orientation. On campus, the objective is to promote good community relations. Off campus, the University aims to provide solutions through research, to the questions of inequality, and to educate future citizens and professionals, to be open to the world and diversity, actively combating all forms of discrimination.

The university is democratically and autonomously administered and promotes a responsible and civic-minded vision. As such, elected students are present in the various university bodies and participate in the life of the institution.

In the central councils, members represent research professors, administrative staff, students, and outside personalities. The student representatives are therefore the voice of their community; they defend the rights of all students and make their needs, expectations, and difficulties known.

You can contact the student vice-president, Joséphine ARNAULT, to share any remarks or ideas you might have regarding student life at UPV. Your student vice-president is available in person at the MDE, working out of Room 03. You can also contact her by phone at 04 67 14 54 52 or by email (vpe@univ-montp3.fr).
